How to locally develop refereeing?
Developpment of referees constitutes a bottle-neck for every club growth.
For sustained local development, 3 aspects should be considered:
Referee
FORM
- Monthly initiation courses over the season (Club)
- Free courses of short duration (Club)
-Yearly F.I.T. referee clinic (Touch Canada)
FOLLOW
- Grow knowledge & confidence throughout local leagues.
- Get advantage of tournaments to practice refereeing and get feedbacks from highly experienced referees.
REWARD
Promote refereeing by recompensate individual commitment (i.e. voucher at the end of the season)
