Saint John Touch Rugby League
Saint John, NB
The Saint John Touch Rugby League Inc. (SJTRL) was established with a clear mission to promote, develop, and govern the game of touch rugby in the greater Saint John area of New Brunswick, Canada. The league's formation marked a significant milestone in the local sporting community, creating a structured platform for players to enjoy and compete in touch rugby using FIT rules. The journey began on Friday, April 29th, 2016, when the first-ever Co-Ed Touch Rugby League in Saint John kicked off its inaugural season. This was a monumental moment for the area, as it introduced an exciting and dynamic sport to the region. With a mix of men and women on teams, the league fostered a sense of inclusivity, teamwork, and fun.
