THE CANADIAN FEDERATION OF TOUCH RUGBY
Canadian National Teams
In 2018, a squad of highly motivated woman participated to the US Nationals under the Touch Canada banner. Sensitive to our players' motivation to participate to high-level competitions, Touch Canada launched in 2019 a recruitment process with the ambition to participate for the very first time to the touch world cup in 2023.
Our team of selectors (Demi Quickfall/Christophe Fevre/Jason King)
are assessing volunteers during tournaments and clinics.
A Coach will manage the players selected to play together in the national team. Regular training clinics will be organized during the season to allow for the players get to know each other.
National teams will be sent to the highest competition available in north america, such as the US nationals. Ultimately, our aim is to send team to compete for the next world cup.

Mark enjoyed playing touch rugby in the Philippines, Australia and Canada. He loves a well orchestrated set move, and hates it most when his wife scores against him. We are proud to be representing Canada and helping to build the game abroad.
Taking part to this new adventure at the kick-off is a wonderful experience! I feel that the growth of touch in North America is a great challenge that engages commitment from each player. I really enjoy Touch as a complete sport : you can surpass yourself in competition and, in the meantime,
feel part of a family.
I feel very privileged and incredibly excited to get the opportunity to put on that red jersey and represent my adopted nation internationally. This trip will act as a great stepping stone for us to develop our skills for future tournaments, transfer those skills back into our local teams, and turn some heads in the process.
